KDL Comstock Park Nature Mural

Kent District Library, Comstock Park Branch • Comstock Park, MI • 2025

The south side of this library building faces the beautiful Dwight Lydell Park and Mill Creek, which teems with life during the summertime. This mural, which aimed to coordinate with the 2024 mural on the west side of the building, features flora and fauna found near the creek. Artwork size restrictions limited us from painting the entire wall, so I activated the top triangle of the wall with objects spilling over the canvas area for maximum impact.
