Rhiannan Sibbald is a traveling muralist and illustrator based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Rhiannan, who has been drawing since her toddler days in the late 90s, is a self-proclaimed professional kid. Determined to never lose her childlike wonder, she creates artworks that celebrate play and joy. Her visual lexicon includes bright colors, whimsical characters, flora and fauna, funky lettering and lots of sparkles. Rhiannan has painted over 40 custom murals in schools, libraries, children’s museums, businesses and public spaces across the Midwest. Her favorite parts of the job are traveling, meeting wacky people, and infusing the local magic into every piece she creates. She lives in a cozy little apartment with her husband, Jakob, and calico fur baby, Honey.

FUN FACT!
Rhiannan was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (AKA The U.P.) and is known to Michiganders as a “Yooper.” She grew up snowmobiling, ice fishing, canning food, and maintaining a wood stove to heat her home.
