Huron 100 Artist Program

Client: Huron 100 Races • 2026

Huron 100 Races, an ultramarathon nestled along Southeastern Michigan’s Huron River Watershed, invited me to be the featured artist of their inaugural Artist Program. We worked together to create art for their full 100-mile trek, as well as their 50-mile race, the Waterloo Pinckney 50 (WP50). The art was made into collectible posters, web graphics and tee shirts to commemorate the annual event.

My goal was to capture the vibrant energy of the race, featuring the iconic sandhill crane, the Huron River, a few native wildflowers, and my personal favorite, the quirky characters inspired by race photos from past years. We aimed to showcase that ultra running can be for anyone, and though it is hard work, it is also a super fun experience!
